The show premiered on Sunday 28 July 2024, with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu hosting it for the eight consecutive time.

This year’s BBNaija came with a twist called “Dynamic Duo” as house mates entered Biggie’s house in pairs, unlike the normal single entries of previous editions. Fourteen(14) pairs entered the Big Brother house on Sunday, totaling Twenty Eight(28) individuals.

The first pair introduced was Zion and Chinwe, also known as Zinwe, a couple. They were followed by friends Michky and Fairme David, called the Radicals, and another duo of friends, DJ Flo and Ruthee, known as Flourish.

The fourth pair to enter included a niece and her aunt, Chinne and Nne, referred to as Ndi Nne. The excitement continued with colleagues Topher and Sooj, known as Aces, and then close friends Shaun and Victoria, dubbed Shatoria. The arrival of popular female DJs, Wanni and Handi known as Wani X Handi, added even more energy to the house. Another set of twins, Tjay and Ben, known as Beta, were the next to join.

The lineup also featured friends Damilola and Toyosi, aka Tami; Anita and Nelly, called Nelita; the Mbadiwe twins, Ocee and Ozee; Toby Forge and Mayor Frosh, known as Streeze; married couple Kassia and Kellyrae, dubbed Double Kay; and finally, sisters Chizoba and Onyeka, known as Chekas.

With a grand prize of N100 million at stake including N65 million in cash and other enticing rewards, housemates in the Big Brother Naija house are ready for a season full of drama, alliances, and unforgettable moments.
